These multi-week English courses are open to all Friedrich Schiller University employees who wish to improve their language skills. Currently, two conversation courses are offered per semester, allowing you to consolidate and expand your knowledge starting at language level B1.

In the case of language courses, employees are generally required to make a financial contribution due to the importance of the course, which also extends beyond the workplace. A personal contribution of €15.00 (10 x 90-minute sessions) must be paid privately.

1. qualification programme for tenure-track professorships

A two-stage qualification programme is offered for the target group of tenure-track professors, junior professors and junior research group leaders at Friedrich Schiller University Jena. 2. professionalisation of teaching and leadership | certificate programme for professors

3. individual coaching / coaching in small groups

As part of the certificate and qualification programmes for professors, individual coaching can also be financed under certain requirements. The Staff Development department is responsible for finding experienced coaches.
