February 2026, the Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Ia?i hosted the EC2U Winter School "Go Digital in Law" in Ia?i, Romania, bringing together 15 academics and PhD candidates from EC2U Partner Universities for an intensive programme dedicated to the legal dimensions of digital transformation.
Developed within the framework of a Blended Intensive Programme (BIP), this initiative showcased the core values of the EC2U Alliance: cooperation, openness, and strategic internationalisation.
The Winter School served as a dynamic platform for academic synergy, bringing together a strong community of students, researchers, and professors from prominent EC2U Partner Universities, including the University of Poitiers (France), the University of Turku (Finland), Friedrich Schiller University Jena (Germany), the University of Coimbra (Portugal), and the University of Salamanca (Spain). This collaboration underscores the Alliance’s commitment to building a unified European campus where legal expertise and technological innovation converge.
