Many students use their bikes as an everyday means of transport - but not everyone knows how to look after them properly or carry out minor repairs themselves. A workshop tender is planned that addresses precisely this issue: it is intended to impart knowledge, promote self-em|on and strengthen sustainable mobility.
The workshop is planned in collaboration with the ADFC university group and experienced mechanics. The workshop courses are primarily aimed at students as a free tender and cover both basic topics (e.g. changing tyres, adjusting brakes, adjusting derailleur gears) and advanced techniques such as bleeding hydraulic brakes.
Participants should be able to work on their own bikes wherever possible in order to gain direct practical experience. This is intended to prevent premature wear and tear on bikes. In addition, the aim is to make cycling more accessible and cost-effective in general, thus consolidating it as a means of transport.
Current status
The tender is currently in the planning phase - dates, locations and registration options will be announced in good time.
