"Die Kunst der Balance – Einsichten aus dem Microverse" (The art of balance - Insights from the microverse)
Prof. Dr. Kirsten Küsel

In her keynote lecture on Schiller Day, Prof Küsel will invite us on a intellectual journey between the micro and macro worlds. Taking Schiller's idea of balance as the human ideal as her starting point, she will draw a line to the ‘Microverse’ - the fascinating universe of microorganisms. For billions of years, they have been shaping life on our planet through complex interactions and astonishing resilience. Their strategies of balance and coexistence can also inspire us: for research work, for social coexistence - and for our own path between change and stability.
