The University of Jena has a powerful portfolio of digital services for teaching and learning, which is accompanied by numerous services for exchange, qualification and support. By modernising our portal, we want to create a university online marketplace and make it easier for teaching staff and students to find their way around.

The project "E-Learning-Marktplatz@uni-Jena" is funded by the Foundation for Innovation in University Teaching for three years (2023-2026). As part of the project, the existing information website www.elearning.uni-jena.de?de will be further developed into a portal in which the university's tenders can be searched and linked across departments. In the further developed portal, you can easily orientate yourself, quickly find suitable admissions for your concerns and be inspired by other tenders. The existing content will be gradually transferred to the revised structure.

Information

The renewed portal went online on 23 September 2025! It contains over 100 tenders to support digital teaching and studying, and is available in German and English. We look forward to your feedback.

The Foundation for Innovation in Higher Education (StIL) has been committed to innovation in studying and teaching throughout Germany since 2021. To this end, it funds projects at individual institutions of higher education or joint projects. The University of Jena's project for the development of an e-learning marketplace was selected as one of eight projects for the further development of teaching-related portalsExternal link. Teaching-related portals are websites that systematically provide teaching-related knowledge. In addition, networks and portals have the potential to act as innovation-promoting actors and to disseminate good ideas. The aim of the funding is to strengthen networks and portals in this role, consolidate their structures and increase their visibility and accessibility.
