The printing service offers the possibility to realise various printing projects. You can have small-format printed matter up to DIN A3 and half A2 printed in colour or black and white, such as course catalogues, brochures, flyers, leaflets, examination papers, envelopes up to B4 or business cards in accordance with the corporate design of the University of Jena, or large-format drawings, posters, art prints, roll-ups and advertising banners printed on various materials for indoor and outdoor use.

Application and authorisation

This service is available to students, employees of the University of Jena as well as other universities and university-related institutions. You need a completely filled out print order.
As a private person or company, you cannot use the printing services of the URZ.
Registration with URZ login required.

Processing: Orders are processed during regular working hours.
Pick-up: Pick-up is possible during the opening hours of the IT Service Center. These can be found under the link:? IT Service Center opening hours
Technical requirements: Print jobs must be available as a print file. Due to the system, only PDF files are accepted.

Costs

The URZ printing service is subject to a charge. You can pay for these either by cost center or privately. Print jobs that are intended for business purposes can be billed via a WBS element. Please make sure that your WBS element corresponds to the address of the institution. For orders from the hospital, the WBS element is required in addition to the cost center number for billing. This can be requested from the hospital's accounting department.

All orders that are not for official purposes are subject to VAT and charged at full cost. This also applies to printing orders from students, associations (e.g. alumni association, student bodies, student union, student council, etc.) and university-related companies (joint projects).
