The Graduate Academy offers individual career counselling to help you reflect on your career prospects after completing your doctorate and explore your personal career options. The focus is on potential fields of work both within and outside academia, as well as on the skills you are acquiring during your doctorate. Together, we will look at how academic skills can be applied in different professional fields, as well as which skills you might need to develop further for a particular career path.

The counselling provides a setting in which you can reflect on your own interests, strengths and values in relation to potential career paths and make informed decisions regarding your future career direction. This gives doctoral candidates structured support to develop suitable future prospects for themselves.
