The Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Ia?i will host the online webinar “Student Perspectives on AI in Higher Education.” The event will highlight student voices, offering first-hand insights into how they use artificial intelligence in their academic work—from research and writing to studying and everyday student life.

This webinar provides a unique opportunity to hear directly from students across the EC2U Alliance about the tools they use, the practices they find most effective, and the questions and challenges that matter most to them.

The event is open to all students and academic staff from all EC2U universities. Please register until the 20th April 2026.

Date & Time: Tuesday 5th May, 16.00-18.00 CET
Platform: Microsoft Teams (the link will be sent to all registered participants in due course)
Registration: hereExternal link

Hosted by:?Prof. dr. Adrian Iftene, Vice-Rector for Information Infrastructure Development at UAIC, a leading expert in Artificial Intelligence and Natural Language Processing, and a passionate advocate for helping students become active, informed users of AI in their academic and professional lives.

The speakers will be students representing all EC2U universities, each bringing their own perspective on how AI shapes their academic experience, and reminding us that behind every technology are real students, real questions, and real stories.

We at the EC2U community look forward to showcasing student insights and fostering dialogue across EC2U universities!
