On 24 April 2026, the University of Jena will take part in the 19th Jena Team Run. The event is a team relay race across the surrounding area of the ‘Am Jenzig’ sports facility in Jena-Ost.

Each team consists of three runners, each of whom completes a 2.5 km stage.
Registration begins on 5 March. Individual participants and existing teams can already be registered at the time of registration. All participants will receive a University of Jena T-shirt. The entry fees will be paid by the health management department. These will be donated by the organisers to charitable associations (including Mukoviszidose e.V. Jena, Kinder- und Jugendheim Jena and Sailing Kids Jena e.V.).?
