The Research School is part of the “Imaginamics: Practices and Dynamics of Social Imagining” Cluster of Excellence. The Cluster of Excellence is committed to researching shared ideas, narratives, and images. We call the practices of sharing such ideas, narratives and images “social imagining”. They contribute to the creation of shared worlds of imagination that provide orientation and support in everyday life. The process of imagination itself—its practices, dynamics, and historical developments—is at the center of our research.
