Digital examinations at the University of Jena

At the University of Jena, module examinations are conducted in various forms. The examinations can also be carried out as digital examinations using electronic media and electronic information and communication technologies. Digital examinations include a variety of formats: from classic e-exams and automated multiple-choice tests to interactive project work, video assignments or simulation-based examinations.

    Electronic exams (e-exams) in presence are exams in which an electronic input system is used as a Moodle test and the supervision takes place in the rooms of the university, e.g. in the PC pool, i.e. in presence.

    Take-home exams are written exam formats that allow for a longer examination period, for example 24 or 48 hours, and are therefore unsupervised.
    Depending on the task, various formats are available, which can also be implemented on Moodle. Submissions are made via the secure examination server of the University of Jena (exam.uni-jena.de).
