Emilie Holley talks about her time in the Honours Programme and reports on how she found her mentor at the time and current doctoral supervisor for her Honours Programme and what motivated her to apply for the programme. Among other things, she describes her trip to Seville in 2022 for the R&D Management Conference, where she gave a presentation herself – a formative experience for her to this day!
Emilie Holley studied economics (bachelor's degree) in the standard profile and economics (master's degree) and was accepted into the Honours Programme in 2022. She is currently a research assistant and doctoral candidate at the Chair of Corporate Development, Innovation and Economic Change held by Prof. Dr Matthias Menter. As part of the Honours Programme, she conducted research on a project entitled The Role of Universities in Social Innovation Processes.

The podcast is aimed at students, prospective students and staff of the Faculty of Economics and provides insights into various topics related to studying, scientific work, academic careers and opportunities at the University of Jena.
